SaaS replacement consulting. Stop renting your back office.
Four replacement offers, one engagement model — audit, replicate, migrate, run. We replicate the SaaS you actually use, retire the modules you don't, and hand you a codebase your team can run without us.
-
NetSuite & ERP: Stop renting your back office.
We replicate the NetSuite modules you actually use — orders, inventory, vendor management, accounting glue — as custom software you own. AI-assisted scaffolding compresses the timeline. Phased cutover, alongside the SaaS.

How fast does the build pay for itself?
Pick the category, type your annual SaaS spend, see the break-even window. Same multipliers we use on audit calls — anchored on real engagements (US Surfaces · NetSuite, B2B SaaS · Salesforce). 30 seconds, no signup required to see the number.
Audit, replicate, migrate, run.
Same four-step engagement for every replacement. The audit is paid and credits 100% to the build, so you know what you're getting before you commit.
-
Audit
Paid engagement (credits 100% to the build): we map every SaaS module you actually use, not the ones in your contract. We tell you what to keep, what to replace, and what would cost more to rebuild than it saves.
-
Replicate
Fixed-bid replacement build. AI-assisted scaffolding for the CRUD-heavy work, hand-built logic for the workflows that make your business specific. Your code, your repo, from day one.
-
Migrate
Parallel-run alongside the SaaS for 4–8 weeks. Data parity verified, phased cutover by team or workflow, full rollback plan. No weekend launches, ever.
-
Run
Optional retainer for changes, monitoring, and AI feature additions — or a clean handoff to your internal team. Your call. The codebase isn't ours; it's yours.
Sometimes we tell you to stay.
Replacement isn't always the right answer. The audit will tell you when it's not. Cases where we'd advise against migrating:
- Stripe, Twilio, AWS — pure infrastructure SaaS, never replace
- NetSuite for multi-entity consolidation in regulated finance — keep it
- Salesforce when your sales motion is so deeply integrated with vendor-specific tooling (Marketing Cloud, Pardot, CPQ) that the migration cost outruns the savings
- Anything in active use under $500/mo — the math doesn't work
Work we don't take on.
Buyer clarity beats over-promise. Engagements outside our wheelhouse — we'll point you at someone who actually does this work.
- Replacing AWS, Stripe, Twilio, or other infrastructure SaaS — those work fine; you don't want to own the bill for compute, payments, or telecom
- Annual SaaS spend under ~$25k — replacement-build math doesn't pencil out; we'll tell you to renew
- Salesforce migrations where Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or CPQ are deeply integrated — the migration cost outruns the savings
- FedRAMP, government, or anything requiring a cleared workforce — we're not on the list
- Healthcare claims processing for covered entities — adjacent to our healthcare work, but a different regulatory muscle than we keep in-house
Questions every serious buyer asks.
The eight questions we get on every audit call. If you have a ninth, send it.
-
How much of our existing data and historical records survive the migration?
100% — we move all transactional history, customer/vendor records, and reporting backstops into the new system before cutover. Audit confirms data parity. We never overwrite source systems during parallel-run, so a rollback path always exists. -
Will our accountant / auditor accept the new GL exports?
Yes — we work with your accountant during the audit phase to confirm chart-of-accounts mapping, period closing rules, and audit trail format before we build. By cutover, your firm has signed off on the export schema. -
Do we get the source code?
Yes. The repo is in your GitHub/GitLab from day one. We commit to your account; you own every line. There's no DK-hosted control plane, no per-seat license, no vendor lock-in. If you fire us tomorrow, your software keeps running. -
What happens if your team is unavailable mid-build?
Every project gets a primary lead and a backup with full context. Architecture decisions are documented as ADRs in the repo. We carry $2M professional liability insurance. For NetSuite-class engagements we'll set up code escrow with a third-party agent if you want one. -
Who actually does the work? Is any of this offshored?
A small senior team distributed across the US and Europe — Austin-headquartered, fully remote. No offshore subcontracting. No junior-learning-on-your-dime. You'll meet every engineer on your project before signing. Team sizing for replacement work is typically 2–4 people for the duration; we don't flex up with juniors to hit a deadline. -
Can we talk to past clients?
Yes — we provide 2 referenceable clients on request after the qualifying audit conversation, with introductions made in writing. Most past clients sit under NDA, but we maintain a list of referees willing to speak with serious prospects. -
What's the price range and what's included?
NetSuite-class replacement: $95k–$220k fixed-bid build (audit fee $8k, creditable). Salesforce/CRM replacement: $48k–$130k (audit $5k). WordPress to static: $18k–$45k (audit $3k). BI dashboard rebuild: $32k–$90k (audit $4k). All include design, build, parallel-run migration, and 30 days of post-launch support. Ongoing retainer optional. -
What if the audit concludes we should NOT migrate?
You walk away with a useful artifact — a documented map of your SaaS spend, workflows, and replacement vs stay-with recommendation. The audit fee is non-refundable but it's capped, fixed, and saves you from a six-figure mistake either way. Several past audits have ended with our recommendation to renew, and we said so.
